Senior Medi-Benefits has an active volunteer program. We are always seeking help, from both young and old alike!Volunteers play in an integral role in helping SMB"s staff meet the increasing needs of our clients and the organisation. With multiple programs to support and a dynamic and changing client case load, we use help in back-office processes, client fulfillment processes, and marketing and fundraising initiatives. Volunteers help us keep costs low to the families, and are invaluable to have on the team.
Since Senior Medi-Benefits is a state-wide organisation, and is developing the SMB counselor program to serve seniors, elders, and the disabled individuals in all California counties, there is an added opportunity for volunteering. One criteria for being accepted into the counselor program are the volunteer hours at the local level, either helping existing clients, or assisting in our CAP-program free consultation services.
