Arleen founded Senior Medi-Benefits in 1986 with a close friend, (see history) and served as Executive Director for eighteen years. She has helped hundreds of families as they navigated the complexities of financial, emotional, and medical benefits problems when their loved ones get sick, and continues to be a passionate advocate for the sick and frail elderly and their families.
Matt joined Senior Medi-Benefits in 2001 and served as Director of LTC Medi-Cal Eligibility for two and a half years. He was named Executive Director in December, 2004, with a five year mandate to grow and modernize the organization so that it can more effectively service the complex needs of both the elderly and disabled populations. One of his main goals is to expand statewide outreach programs for the under-served frail elderly population. Matt gives lectures on issues facing California's elderly population, including "The Oldest Old: Understanding the New Needs of California's fastest growing population segment, those 85 and older."
Andrea joined Senior Medi-Benefits in the summer of 2008 after spending the previous six years helping seniors and elders develop their estate plans and long term care strategies. She has researched and written a 60-chapter resource guide on senior issues and government regulations for estate planning and enjoys communicating with clients and educating them on a wide variety of aging topics. Andrea cares tremendously about her clients and wants the very best for them and their families.
