Arleen founded Senior Medi-Benefits in 1986 with a close friend, (see history) and served as Executive Director for eighteen years. She has helped hundreds of families as they navigated the complexities of financial, emotional, and medical benefits problems when their loved ones get sick, and continues to be a passionate advocate for the sick and frail elderly and their families. She is a frequent speaker and lecture
Matt was named Executive Director in December, 2004. His current mandate from the Senior Medi-Benefits' Board of Directors is to preserve the sterling legacy of the organisation, which is now approaching its 25th year of existence, while continuing to grow the organisation statewide. Matt leads program development to meet the ever more complex needs of the elderly population, and spearheaded the creation of the SMB Special Needs Pooled trust to meet the needs of California's disabled population.
